N-deal possible only if west ‘abandons excessive demands’

TEHRAN, Jun. 22 (MNA) – Iran’s Mohammad Javad Zarif has said all parties to nuclear negotiation should abandon excessive demands for making a deal possible and accessible.

Mohammad Javad Zarif who is in Luxemburg told reporters on Monday that discords between Iran and the 5 permanent members of UN Security Council plus Germany had both technical and political nature; “however, we would wage attempts to reach a deal in the earliest opportunity possible; a good deal is far more important than the time of the deal which would be sooner or later than the deadline,” he added, “we will meet and negotiate EU foreign policy chief, and foreign ministers of EU3 (Germany, Britain and France) about the necessity of a joint action which would bring about a final deal,” Zarif was quoted as saying by the Iran’s IRIB.

“Today’s meetings also will cover regional developments such as Yemen, Syrian crisis, and extremism in the region,” he told the press.
